NIGERIAN INDEPENDENCE DAY, 1ST OCTOBER’S.
Independence day in Nigeria is an official national holiday in Nigeria, celebrated on the 1st of October every year. It marks Nigeria’s proclamation of Independence that British rule.
The holiday is celebrated by the government of Nigeria annually with festivities which begins with president’s address to the people, which is broadcasted on media. Another integral part of the festivities is the military parade in the Federal capital.. The students and Unions to the folk of music and concerts of famous artists.
This also could be seen at state level, but nawadays, due to the challenges of insecurity, the programmes has been redesigned.
Jumali and MDSCF joined the Nation at large to the celebration of 61th Independence day.
