    WORLD NO TOBACCO DAY, 31st MAY. Today all over the world is being observed as World No Tobacco Day . The day was intended to encourage a 24 hour period of abstinence from all forms of tabacco consumption around the globe. On this day the World Health Organisation (WHO) and other global partners celebrate the day and campaign to raise awareness on the harmful and deadly effects of tobacco usage and second-hand smoke exposure and also to discourage the use of tobacco in any form.     INTERNATIONAL DAY OF UN PEACE KEEPING; 29th MAY. This is observed anually on this Day . It is aimed at paying tribute to the uniformed personnel and civilians for their invaluable contributions to honor the peacekeepers that have lost their lives while serving. These personnel protect civilian lives and properties as well as ensuring the presence of peace. Peace is a necessity and it gives hope. As we observe this day, Jumali and MDSCF call all concerned to work together to make peacekeeping more effective in protecting people and advancing global peace.
