INTERNATIONAL DAY OF MULTILATERALISM AND DIPLOMACY FOR PEACE; 24th April.
International day of multilateralism and diplomacy for peace, is an annually observed day on the 24th of April. It is a UN declared day established on the 12 of December 2018 through a resolution A/RES/73/127. The day was first observed on the 24 of April 2019..

The day seek to reaffirm the UN charter and it’s principles of resolving disputes among counties through peaceful means.
The acknowledging of the use of multi decision -making and diplomacy in achieving peaceful resolution in conflicts among nations.
INGOs, Civil Society Organisations, NGOs and other stakeholders working on conflict resolutions, peace building and related issues organise series of events aiming at creating awareness on the day.
