INTERNATIONAL DAY OF CHARITY; 5TH SEPTEMBER.
Charity is seen as any benevolence to others, less fortunate than ourselves. Could also be providing of cash or kind to those in need.
Charity, like the notions of volunteerism and philanthropy, provides real social bonding and contributes to the creation of inclusive and more resilient societies.
International Day of Charity is observed annually on the 5th of September. It was established with the objective of sensitizing and mobilizing people, NGOs, and stakeholders all around the world to help others through volunteering and philanthropic activities.
Jumali and MDSCF a Non Governmental Organizations and partners in progress join the rest of the world to commemorate this day.
