INTERNATIONAL DEMOCRACY DAY; 15th September.
Every 15th day in September is observed as International democracy day. It is a UN declared and observed by all member Nations. On this day UN Democracy Fund collaborate with UNESCO to organize series of events to commemorate the day. The day gives an opportunity to assess the state of democracies in the world, it also give chance to highlight the crucial role of parliament and to celebrate the capabilities to deliver justice, development, human rights and peace.
The aim of the day is to promote and uphold the primacy of democracy in every country. National Assembly seeks to End to electoral impunity.
Jumali and MDSCF join the world over especially the countries practicing Democracy to commemorate the world.
