INTERNATIONAL MOON DAY, 20th JULY.

Today is observed as International Moon Day, it is a United Nations Generall Assembly declared day.
Moon is one satellite of the earth, and it goes round the earth planet in 28, 29 or 30 days. It’s importance can’t be overemphasize. The day is marked annually on this day, the 20th of July. It celebrates the day human first walked on the moon in 1969.
National Aeronautic Space Administration(NASA) reported the first step of mankind on the moon to be the greatest technological achievement of all times. The day and the time of landing by the human on the moon was 2:56 GMT on 21st July, 1969.

Activities to commemorate the day by Organizations of aerospace, schools and INGOs may include reading books or watching documentaries about the Apollo 11 and other related programs.

Jumali as a training academy join the world and the INGOs to create awareness on the importance of the Moon and the day.
