The day is a UN observed by all its member nations on this day. The day celebrates the human rights of person with Albinism worldwide. The day was a UN effort to stop the brutalities against people with Albanism.
This year’s theme 2024 is “A decade of collective progress” the day create awareness about Albinism to raise unified voice and showcase positive response on Albinism.
The theme emphases the importance of inclusion and protection of rights for people with Albanism by participating in awareness.
Groups and associations working with Albinism organise programmes to get the public involved in the awareness campings including seminars, conferences and onlines.
Every year UN picks a unique theme to highlight the achievement of people with Albinism around the world to show that Albinism cannot be presented.
Jumali and MDSCF joins the worldwide Albinism community in encouraging everyone to celebrate and promote Albinism awareness.
