WORLD BEES DAY 20th May.
Every year the 20yh day in the month of May is decleared by UN as world bees day.
The purpose of the day is to acknowledge the role of bees and other pollinates for the ecosystem.
The Bee is among the hardest working creatures on the planet earth. It has benefited plants, people and the environment
The day create awareness on the bees Viz their role and benefits socially, economically, culturally and otherwise. It is a UN designated day and observed by all member nations.
About 90% of the world wildflower plants and 35%of the world’s crop depend on bees to grow and how they help build ecosystem all over the world..
Stakeholders in the bees keeping business , in partnership with INGOs, NGOs and other civil society organisations working on bees and other related social insects engage in awareness programmes to create awareness on the importance of the day.
Jumali as a training academy join the world of bees to commemorate the day.
