INTERNATIONAL WORKERS DAY; 1st May.
Today being the 1st day in the month of May is regarded as International workers day otherwise known as International labour day.
The day celebrates achievements of the workers worldwide. Respect and highlights the contribution of workers to society
The day stands for freedom and consideration for humanity. It commemorates the historic struggles and gains made by workers and the labour movement.
On this day labour union, groups and trade associations and other civil society organisations including NGOs in partners with INGOs organise events such as matching through the streets, online programmes to create awareness on the day.
Jumali and MDSCF join the world of workers to commemorate the day.
