WORLD WILD LIFE DAY: 3rd March.

3rd of March every year is observed as world wildlife day, a day declared by UN to focus on all wild animals and plants species as a component of the diversity and livelihood of people, mainly those who live close to nature.
It’s observance started on the 20th December, 2013 at a UNGA session in its 68th resolution often termed 68/205. This resolution proclaim 3rd of March every year.

The aim of the day is to raise awareness of the world’s wild fauna and flora and this gives opportunity to celebrate many varieties of the wildlife, recovery of key species of ecosystem restoration.
NGOs and other civil society organisations working on conservation be it plants or animals organize a sensitization activities to raise awareness on the endangered species of plants and animals in our ecosystem.
A theme is drawn every year with a view to generating and implementing workable solution conserved them.
Other activities may include among others visit local park, going to bird watching, clean up local beach, visit to local zoo or aquarium close to you, watching animals and donate to volunteer at local animals organisation.

Jumali as a training academy and as an NGO join the world over to commemorate the day.
