ARABIC LANGUAGE DAY; 18th December.
The 18th Day of December every year UN declared it as Arabic Language day. It is commemorated to highlight the catalytic role of Arabic in the European Renaissance and the Industrial Revolution in 1973 where the UN approved Arabic as official UN language.
The day is celebrated since 2012 to date. It is a language of undeniable beauty and power. Arabic is recognized for its contribution to the Poetry and Arts.
This year’s theme 2023 Arabic “The language of Poetry and Arts’.
Activities are organized by stakeholders today to commemorate the day, including all that will promote linguistic and cultural appreciation. Attend Arabic workshop or cultural events that show case Arabic music,dance and cuisine.
Jumali as a training academy as well NGO join the UN member Nations especially Arabic speaking Nations to observe the day.
