INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSAL HEALTH COVERAGE DAY; 12 December.
Observance of the day stated on 12 December 2017 in a resolution 72/138.
The day means that all people should have access to the full range of quality health services they need and where they can get it at an affordable. Cost .
The day is about ensuring that people have access to the health care they need without suffering financial hardship.
Awareness events are carried out today by INGO, NGOs, in all UN member countries in commemorating the day in a varieties of way to reach the public.
