INTERNATIONAL DAY OF NEUTRALITY; 12 December.
The 12th of December every year is observed as International Day neutrality, it is a UN declared day which was adopted on 12 December 1995 in a resolution 50/80, the day promotes the principles of neutrality in International relations, it also highlights the importance of remaining Impartial, Non- aligned, and Neutral in conflicts to contribute to peace, diplomacy and international cooperation.
Member Nations, NGOs and other government agencies commemorate the day to express the hope that “the status of permanent neutrality is maintained’.
Awareness programmes are organised by stakeholders.
Jumali and MDSCF join the world over to express the hope of neutrality all over among the populace.
