ISLAMIC NEW YEAR, 1445 AH!
Today is 1st of Muharram 1445 AH marking the beginning of Islamic calendar. The year signifies another year in the Hijrah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) from Mecca to Madina. The year has a complete 12 months as it is in Gregorian calendar ie 12 month, viz-viz; Muharram, Safar, Rabiul Auwal, Rabiul thani, Jumadha Auwal, Jumadha Ula, Rajab, Shaaban, Ramadan, Shawwal, Dhulkadha, and Dhul hajj.
Each of month is significant in the life of Muslim.
The first day of the declared as public holiday in some countries and states, where Muslim faithfully use the to thank the Almighty Allah for spearing their lives to witness yet year.
Islamic Organizations, schools, government parastatals and other cooperate organization today organise series of lectures, symposium and other programs to commemorate the day.
Jumali and MDSCF joined the rest of the world to observe the month in the new year of theIslamic calendar, wishing everyone a blessed and joyous start. May the year bring peace, happiness, and prosperity.
