WORLD DAY OF SOCIAL JUSTICE; 20TH FEBRUARY.
WORLD DAY OF SOCIAL JUSTICE; 20TH FEBRUARY.
20th of February every year is declared by UN as World day of social justice, it is observed by all member Nations.
The day is aimed to amplify the need to promote efforts to take issues such as poverty, exclusion and unemployment. Many organizations today present plans for greater social justice by tackling poverty, social and economic exclusion and employment.
NGOs and INGOs call for fair outcomes for all through employment, social protection, social dialogue, and fundamental principles and rights. Developing ideal topics for teaching students about the need for social justice include(but are not limited to) childhood poverty, global citizenship, human rights and sustainable development.
Jumali and MDSCF join the INGOs and NGOs the world over to observe the day.
Happy WORLD DAY OF SOCIAL JUSTICE from JTSLTA and MDSCF.
