INTERNATIONAL BANKS DAY; 4th December.
International banks day is observed every 4th of December worldwide. It is a United Nations declared day. It was inaugurated by United Nations General Assembly in its resolution 74/245.
Observance of the day started in 2019, this marks third year of observance.
The day was aimed to acknowledge the role of banks in providing people with important information for their financial Society.
Banks worldwide observe this day in different ways just to raise awareness of their importance, by so doing the general public especially those who patronises banks are informed.
TV show, online and other medium are on this day used by bank official and their partners including CSOs, INGOs, NGOs and Government financial institutions to create awareness on the day.
Jumali as training academy also join the numerous banks and other financial institutions all over the world to commemorate the day.
