The Maulid day in islam is known as the day the Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him was Born.
It is a Recognized day as 12th of Rabiul Auwal 570 AD according to Islamic Calender.
In Nigeria, the Federal Government has earmarked day for Muslims faithfuls to mark the day with Prayers and Salutations on their holy prophet (SAW).
