Today is Father’s day, a day that is observed the third Sunday in every June.
This year’s father’s day is celebrated today the 19th of June .
It is celebrated to recognize the contributions that fathers and father figures make to the lives of their children, ie fatherhood and male parenting.
The day is a United Nations declared day and it is celebrated in a variety of ways worldwide.
The day honour fatherhood and paternal bonds and the influence of fathers in the society.
