WORLD DAY AGAINST CHILD LABOUR, 12th June.
United Nations declared 12th June as World day against child labour. The day is aimed at creating awareness on the implications of child labour culturally, educational and morally.Child labour as the name implies means exposing a children between the ages of 4 to 14/15 years to any form of work force which enders his life if not controlled.Children are the joy of every community and society we live in, as such if they are properly nurtured from their birth years they are expected to be the leaders of tomorrow.Child labour is a serious offence which needs to be tackled and addressed so that the up coming generation will have a brighter future of educated, socially oriented children.Activities for the day may include among others seminars, workshops, radio/ television programmes by the NGOs, CSOs, government and otherstakeholders working with children and their well-being to enlighten on the public importance of the day.Jumali in partnership with MDSCF as a CSO and having children as their primary target join the rest of the to observe the day
