WORLD POETRY DAY, 21 ST MARCH.
World Peotry Day is celebrated on every 21 March. It was declared by UNESCO ( United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) in 1999.
Poetry literary mean the class of literature comprising poems, composition in verses or language, exhibiting conscious attention to pattern.
The day is aimed at promoting the reading, writing, publishing and teaching of Peotry throughout the world.
The original declaration by UNESCO says, “to give fresh recognition and impetus to national, regional and international poetry movement “
Organizations out to promote the day perform various activities to create awareness of the day and it’s importance to development of Peotry around the world.
