INTERNATIONAL JUSTICE, 17th July.
Today is observed as International justice day, it is a United Nations declaration and celebrated by all the member Nations to be observed annually.
The day is marked to call the attention of Government agencies, Non-Governmental Organisations, CBOs, Cooperate Orgabisations, as well as Individuals to join hands and observe this day. The day spelt out vividily the role played by all and ensuring justice is done irrespective of status, class, age, qualification among others. The day also seeks to address all injustice related issues according to every individual so that it can be addressed by the concerned authority.
Various ways the day is observed include sensitization seminars, workshops, debate, rally, road show, distribution of informative material among others, all targetting towards creating awareness to the public.
Jumali and MDSCF join the world to acknowledge this day, and to also call on the public to access the services rendered by all Government and other Organisations on justice.
Let us all endeavor to play our part to fight injustice through the law and not by ourselves.
