WORLD TEACHERS’ DAY (WTD), 5th Oct. It is also called International Teachers’ Day. The day is celebrated every year to commemorate with teachers all over the world. It is aimed at focusing on ‘appreciating, assessing and improving the educators of the world” and to provide an opportunity to consider issues related to teachers and teaching. In celebrating this day, Government agencies, NGOs both National and International partner with private sector and media to mount a campaign to help give the better understanding of teachers and role they play in the development of students and society. Jumali Teen Summer Leadership Training Academy in partnership with MDSCF join the world to celebrate and appreciate teachers for the continuous development of new skills and innovations in discharging their duties and delivering quality education. As the saying goes ” A Teachers’ reward is in Heaven”. Happy World Teachers’ Day from JTSLTA/MDSCF.
