INTERNATIONAL DAY OF CHARITY; 05 Sept. The name charity signifies providing real social bonding and contributes to the creation of inclusive and more resilient societies. Its importance to alliviate the worst effects of humanitarian crises, supplement public service in health care, education, housing and child protection. It also aids advancement of culture, science, sports and the protectioñ of cultural and natural heritage. It promotes rights of the marginalized and the underprivileged, help spreads the message of humanity in conflict situation. The day’s objective include sensitizing and mobilizing people, NGOs and stakeholders all around the world to help others through volunteer and philanthropic activities. The day was to commemorate with those who have worked on charity work and won prizes. At Jumali in partnership with MDSCF, we join the public to create awareness and also call on good spirited individuals to donate generously for charity to support the less privileged in the society.
